Pine Run's Crash And Bang CDX TDX MX MXJ (Zas)
A littermate to Nikon, Flyte & Caper, Zas is owned by Craig & Nanette Bohren. Zas has always been gentleness and versatility personified. By age 3 1/2 he had already completed his CD MX MXJ, and received his TDX award flawlessly at the 2005 GRCA National Specialty in Gettysburg. He continues to work on Variable Surface Tracking which would complete the title of Champion Tracker. He also continues to work on his MACH title in agility. Completion of his CDX earned him the AKC's VCD1 designation. He is a nursing home visitor, and is also "on call" for wilderness search and rescue with local police.

Pine Run's Wingin' It OA OAJ NJP WC OD (Flyte)
A littermate to Nikon, Zas & Caper, Flyte is owned by Gerry Clinchy and Karen Hocker. Flyte didn't start any formal training until she was 3 yrs old! By the age of 6, she had completed 5 agility titles and got her GRCA WC at the National Specialty in Sept. 2008 even though she had taken two maternity breaks. The 'party girl', you know, the one with the lampshade on her head. Flyte exudes confidence and happy attitude. Her offspring are showing potential in tracking, obedience, agility and field pursuits.

Pine Run's L'il Misdemeanor CD RA NA NAJ (Caper)
A littermate to Nikon, Zas & Flyte, owned by Clyde Closson. Caper is the most sensitiveof the offspring. Her favorite thing was field work and she was only lukewarm about agility work, so she and Clyde never really bonded. Mardi's mom, Cozie, found Caper's dear personality reminding her of the last Lab she had owned. She started visiting their home to work with Caper in Obedience when her last Lab died. She was living in a retirement community and could not replace her old Lab. After living 30 years (or more) with Labs, she dearly missed having a dog. Ultimately, she couldn't stand it, and Mardi & Clyde put an addition on their house so Cozie could live with them...and Caper :-) and now Caper and Cozie belong to each other. Caper has been trained and handled by Cozette McGuire. Together Caper and "Cozie" received their CD title in the summer of 2005. Caper had just turned 3 yrs old...and Cozie was almost 83 years old! They continued into agility and Rally obedience, and are still competing together 4 yrs later! Gold Bless 'em! We should all be so spry when we get to be 87 years old!
